Pam attended the opening ceremony of the new wing for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Baptist St. Anthony's Health System. It was so neat for her to see all the photos she had taken of those sweet children framed and hanging on the walls. She was able to see some of the children and photograph them in front of their framed picture. There was an amazing turn out for the big event. A mother of a patient currently in the NICU told Pam seeing those smiling faces on the wall gave her so much hope. BSA gave each child a copy of the picture that was taken by Pam! We hope that the new wing can help many children in the future.
Baptist St. Anthony's Hospital is opening up a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) wing at the hospital. They are decorating the halls with pictures of children who had been in the NICU, and Pam was chosen to be one the of the photographers. She had the best time doing this and it brought her so much joy to see these sweet children. She said it was so fun working with them and hearing the amazing success stories from the parents. Some of the children were in the NICU for days and then some were in there for months. Pam said all of the children she photographed were so full of life and so happy! Below are the pictures she took that will be hanging in the halls of the NICU wing at the hospital.
It was so fun for Pam to take pictures today. Pam photographed this girls wedding 5 years ago and is now photographing her 2 sweet kids. They just moved back to Amarillo and she was so thrilled she was able to take their pictures. They are both so beautiful!
Welcome to Pam Lary Photography's blog - home of not only some great photos, but even better, the "behind the scenes" action and thoughts from the best photographer on the planet, my mom.
Yes, you read correctly. My mom. You see my mom, Pam Lary, is extremely busy and dearly wants to let you into her photography world, so she asked me to be her blogger.
Just so you know me, I'm Amanda Lary Ramsey. I am Pam Lary's youngest child (I have two older brothers). We're all married and almost all of us have a little one at home. I share my mom's love of photography. I love to assist my mom by being her back-up photographer at weddings and now blogging.
Now back to the blog. Most of us in our life have either said or heard someone say, "They're just made to do that." Whether it's being a mom, a preacher, a fireman. You get the picture. Well, Pam was made to be a photographer. She is truly a natural ... and it's reflected in her photo shoots. She brings out the best in her clients, and if you ask them, they have a blast while doing it. You can read more about Pam on her website, but I think you'll get just as much from visiting the blog to see for yourself.
